Welcome to St John's Tennis Club

We are a very friendly tennis club based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells, Kent and very close to the St John’s Sports Centre. We have four macadam tennis courts, two of them being floodlit, and a practice wall. We share our clubhouse with the local bowling club (ideal for those interested in both sports), with a bar, changing facilities, and kitchen. We also have a large car park.

Our social tennis takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (both from 6pm) and Saturday afternoons (from 2pm), with most Inter-Club matches being played on Sundays (Kent League) and also during the week on Monday and Wednesday evenings (Maidstone League). We also have a Wednesday and Friday morning mix-in from 9.30am.

Coaching is available either on a one-to-one basis or special coaching (social) mornings, for all levels. We also have a very strong junior section.  We have a number of social events throughout the year, including barbecues, club tournament competitions, quiz evenings and fun tennis competitions for the day.
